Marjani Smith, Principal
A successful entrepreneur and all-around modern renaissance woman, Marjani has incubated numerous brands and business ventures informed by her background in journalism and brand strategy, as well as her eagle eye for opportunity.
After launching an IT healthcare company as Chief Customer Officer with a mission to reduce prescription costs and expand coverage; she leaned into her love of design and wellness to create The Corner Suite: a leading-edge esthetic and wellness destination that changed the consumer landscape in Savannah with its inspired mix of top-tier products, proven methodologies, and culture of care.
Reflecting her zeal for travel she extended her purview to the hospitality realm, developing and implementing distinctive spa and wellness concepts that leverage both her esthetic and business acumen, shaping distinctive environments that seamlessly blend luxury with wellbeing.
Jeanie Klueter, AIA, LEED AP
A LEED certified architect, Jeanie brings an exceptional pedigree and proven track record to the art and science of experiential wellness design through a hospitality lens, with an expansive career that includes sprawling destination properties, luxury resorts and urban retreats that span the globe.
Leading the wellness division of a premier multinational architecture and interior firm (WATG), she was instrumental in shaping the nascent spa industry in the US and beyond, spearheading its ongoing evolution through diverse typologies that continue to redefine the built environment and elevate the guest experience.
Infusing her broad knowledge, attention to detail and collaborative spirit, Jeanie deftly integrates the unique creative, operational and financial mandates of each project to conceive and shape wellness environments that align and help define the context and character of their respective settings.
Julia Robertson, Creative Director
Co-founder of The Corner Suite in Savannah Georgia, Julia has spent her career at the intersection of wellness and experience design. Beginning with film and television production, she shifted into the interior design space, leading production and creative direction for one of VOGUE’s top five event and interior design firms.
Taking inspiration from her family of medical practitioners, she pivoted into nursing and women’s health, later merging her creative and clinical expertise into the field of wellness development and operations.
A fusion of left and right-brain prowess, she has collaborated with diverse development groups and hospitality brands, crafting transformative environments and guest journey’s rooted in human connection and experience that reflect her passion for art and neuroaesthetics.
